Cairo, The Center of the World: Our capital is the entire world’s melting pot. It's the city where you can experience everything Experiencing Cairo will seem like you experienced the whole world through its different eras in a day.

Day 1: Arriving at The Center of The World: Cairo

  • Welcome to Cairo, our magnificent capital. Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted through customs and formalities by one of our representatives, then transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Pyramids, Saqqara and Memphis tour

  • This morning, after enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will embark on your journey to experience the world’s most iconic sight, the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. A private guide, driver, and expert Egyptologist will take you to see the first and only surviving wonder from the Seven Wonders of the World. You will approach the pyramids by camel and will be given the opportunity to take excellent photos and go inside the largest pyramid (optional). After that, have lunch at a renowned restaurant near the Great Pyramids, before diving into the ancient land of Saqqara. You’ll visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest stone structure in the world. We’ll call it a night and take you to your hotel for you to get ready to explore Cairo!

Day 3: Cairo - Optional City tour - Overnight Sleeping train to Aswan

  • After breakfast, you will have a free day to explore the city on your own or through our range of optional experiences. See the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir where you will experience the world’s greatest collection of artifacts and antiquities or shop at the world's oldest bazaar market, Khan El-Khalili, where you can buy various types of souvenirs. You can also choose to be taken to Old Cairo where you will experience Egypt’s significance as the center of religions through Islamic, Coptic, and Jewish Cairo. Where you will see the Citadel of Salahdin, the Mohamed Ali Mosque, the Hanging Church, and the Ben Azra Synagogue. In the evening, you will catch a sleeping train from Cairo train station to Aswan (12 hours) and will be given dinner shortly after you depart.

Aswan, The Magical Paradise of Nubia: Its unique beauty is unmatched, everywhere you look will seem like a colorful painting, whether it's the natural scenery or the beautiful architecture. Aswan will feel like a dream with its heavenly atmosphere.

Day 4: Aswan - Philae temple & High Dam – Hotel

  • You will wake up to amazing views of the Egyptian countryside as you approach Aswan in the morning by train where you will be served breakfast. After arrival, an Expo Egypt representative will transfer you to your hotel and check you in. You will begin your quest to the impressive Aswan High Dam, a marvel of engineering when it was constructed to help manage the yearly floods that used to devastate Egypt. Later, you will be taken to the Temple of Philae which is situated on the Philae Island that was saved by UNESCO's rescue project during the building of the Aswan High Dam. At night, you will have an optional dinner at a Nubian village, where you will experience the Nubian culture and food that has been preserved for thousands of years. You will cap off your night with an overnight stay at your hotel at Aswan.

Day 5: (Optional tour to Abu Simbel temples by road) - island felucca trip, Cruise to Komombol

  • Wake up to an optional morning experience you wouldn't want to miss, the Abu Simbel Temples (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the grand twin temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. Lunch will be served on the ship before you sail by felucca, a traditional wooden sailing boat, to catch mesmerizing views of Elephantine Island and the Mausoleum of Aga Khan before sailing into Kom Ombo for dinner.

Day 6: Kom Ombo - Edfu - Esna - Luxor

  • After enjoying breakfast this morning, you will reunite with your private guide and disembark from your cruise ship to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, dedicated to Horus, the falcon god. The Temple of Horus, the second largest temple in Egypt after Karnak Temple, was built from 230 to 57 BC by Ptolemy III and his successors and is considered the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt due to its later construction date. You will then return to your vessel to continue you Nile voyage to the great city of Kom Ombo where you will visit the Greco-Roman temple dedicated to Haroeris (the sun god) and Sobek (the crocodile god), the latter considered by some ancient Egyptians to be the creator of the world. While there, view the mummified remains of several crocodiles that once lounged along the ancient Nile banks, just as their descendants do today. At the conclusion of your sightseeing, you will head back to the ship to sail north to Luxor through the Esna Lock, a scenic photo spot that catches the beauty of the Nile.

Luxor, The World’s Greatest Open-Air Museum: Home to an endless amount of palaces, temples, and monuments. Walking through Luxor will provide you with the experience that you're still in Ancient Egypt, with how well-preserved the temples and tombs are.

Day 7 : Luxor West bank

  • Begin the day with an optional early morning Hot Air Balloon ride situated in the midst of the sunrise overseeing the beauty and magnificence of the city of Luxor where a light breakfast and tea will be served. Should you decide that your preference lies in sleeping in, enjoy a delicious breakfast onboard and prepare to meet with your private guide to spend the day exploring the West Bank of the Nile, home to some of Egypt’s most spectacular sites. You will first visit the famous Valley of the Kings to explore the site where the tombs of 64 of Egypt’s notable Pharaohs can be found carved out of solid rock, alongside the legendary Tomb of Tutankhamun. You will then explore the recently renovated mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the second historically confirmed female Pharaoh, regarded as one of the most successful Pharaohs, at Deir El-Bahari, built into the sheer Theban cliffs. You will then conclude your venture into the West Bank with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, the only remaining monuments of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. Upon return to the ship, you will then be transported by cruise to Karnak temple where you will enjoy the Sound and Light show of Karnak temple.

Day 8: Luxor East bank - Overnight Sleeping train to Cairo

  • After breakfast, you’ll visit the renowned UNESCO World Heritage Sites of the monuments of Karnak and Luxor, learning more about ancient Egypt’s fascinating and lengthy history. To begin, you will visit the Karnak Temple complex, strolling along the Avenue of Sphinxes to enter the complex. The Karnak Temple complex was the center of ancient faith and makes up the history of Thebes, consisting of colossal sandstone columns transported 100 miles along the Nile river. You’ll then experience the Luxor Temple which was once joined to the Karnak Temple by a 1.25-mile-long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the entrance to the temple. During the Roman era, the Luxor Temple, also known as “Southern Sanctuary” to ancient Egyptians, served as a legionary fortress and acted as the home of the Roman government in the area. In the evening, you will be transferred to Luxor train station to catch the sleeping train back to Cairo (10 hours).

Back in Cairo, because a day wasn’t enough, so now you’re back in the center of the world to see more of it.

Day 9: Back in Cairo for Leisure Arrive in Cairo in the early morning, where you will have a free day to explore the city on your own or through our range of optional experiences. We recommend capping the night off with a dinner cruise on the nile which would include an Egyptian belly dance show and a Tanoura show.

Day 10: Goodbyes and Departure
