Built in the 1890s by Khedive Abbas II, the Montazah Park was originally a summer luxury destination for royalty to get away from Cairo during the hot months of summer. The ground has a total of three palaces built on it that were used by royalty as vacation homes. The gardens are very well maintained with a beautiful pink ornate bridge and a very attractive seaside park that is open to the public.
