About the role
The Sales Representative is the face of Expo Egypt that helps drive the growth of our business. We are looking for a proactive contributor and an ambitious hard worker, who takes initiative, possesses a strong sense of personal responsibility, enjoys a challenge, and is resilient. This position will assist the Executive team in securing bookings from customers and signing partnerships with other travel agencies. As such, the candidate must possess excellent English communication (both verbal and written) and salesperson skills.
You will drive the following responsibilities
Establish commonality and build rapport with prospective agency owners, demonstrating a positive attitude and knowledge about Expo Egypt and Egypt’s tourism industry and related current events.
Maintaining the CRM and updating it with contacts and progress of leads flow.
Articulate the benefits of traveling and partnering with Expo Egypt to convince consumer/agency to book/partner with Expo Egypt. Effectively presenting and delivering sales presentations to each audience.
Hold a deep understanding of the Expo Egypt’s resources and guides (ex. Visiting Guide, Selling Guide and Tour packages) and Expo Egypt’s perks and pricing in comparison to its competitors.
Generate sales through initializing transactions and utilizing proper closing techniques (most leads will be prequalified and provided by the company to contact).
Reaching out to leads via email, LinkedIn, and via phone calls; must be comfortable reaching out to prospects who are cold contacts and following up.
Act as a brand ambassador and liaison for Expo Egypt with internal and external stakeholders.
We are looking for candidates with the following minimum qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
Minimum 0-2 years experience in sales and/or marketing related role. Previous experience in hospitality, travel and tourism, and/or events is a plus.
Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Ability to overcome rejection/objections and stay positive.
Emotionally-Intelligent, with a friendly personality that is in energetic and welcoming.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a native proficiency in English.
Strong internet and cellular connection.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to maintain production and procedure standards.
Passion for travel industry and general understanding of Egypt.
